Family Tails – The Book Project



For the next few weeks I will be photographing the last few Family Tails portrait sessions featuring children and their pet siblings.

Once all sessions are completed, I will be publishing a beautiful hard cover book called "Family Tails - Children and their Animals".

This gorgeous book will feature the best photo from each session, together with a little story about your children and their pets.


I want your dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, chickens, horses, mice and lizards - let you imagination run wild.

I want to celebrate your pets and the unique bond they share with your kids and family.

And if you would like to include the whole family in the experience and grab some updated family photos, you can do that too!

Designed for families with children aged 1-19 years old.



The participation fee is $100 and this fee will be donated, in full, to the wonderful local charity - DUNROAMIN ANIMAL RESCUE

Pets are part of the family - they are our friends for life. They are how our


children learn unconditional love and responsibility.

They are funny, adorable, unpredictable, full of personality and drive us crazy. And we miss them terribly when they are gone.



If you would love your family to be a part of this, here are all the important details:


When: Session times will be available on weekdays and selected weekends from March through to April 2024.


Where: In and around Albury Wodonga at pet friendly locations, or at your home or property.


Cost to participate: $100, which will be donated in full to Dunroamin Animal Rescue.


What’s included: The full Portait Experience, which includes a portrait session (approx 1 hour), where I will capture a variety of images of your children & animals together (both posed and interactive/candid) and reserves you a place in the book. The session will also include images of your family together should you wish to be included. The Experience includes a personal appointment following your portrait session where you may purchase images from your session. I have a special selection of packages available just for our book participants, which will all include a copy of the book.

The book will also be available to be purchased separately.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Family Tails book will be a published book, so you must be willing to give permission to display photographs of your children in print and online, as part of your involvement in this project. This will include the use of first names in the book and some other details about your child/ren (nothing identifying). Please discuss this with me if you have any concerns.
  2. The photos taken on the session are not included within the participation fee. At your purchasing appointment you will see a beautiful collection of photos of your child/ren and can purchase prints, artwork, albums and digital files. Special packages and upgrades are available just for participants in the book project.
  3. The participation fee of $100 per family is due in full to confirm your booking and is non-refundable. The participation fee will ensure a double page spread within the book. If you would like to have multiple children feature on multiple pages then an additional fee of $100 will need to be paid. This fee will be donated directly to our charity.
  4. There is no additional cost to add on family photos in the session.
  5. The participation fee does not include a copy of the book. Books will be available to purchase separately and are available in special book project packages.
  6. The payment of participation fee is to reserve your allocated shoot date, time and current fees. Your participation fee does not include any prints or products, including digital files. These are available for purchase.
  7. If you, your child or any attending individual is feeling unwell, please call to reschedule. The studio understands that sometimes, this happens. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 48 hours prior to your session, in the case of not showing up for your session, you forfeit your entire participation fee. The participation fee is non-refundable but is transferrable for another date/time as agreed. All rescheduled sessions must take place BEFORE the book cut-off date. Sessions photographed after the cut off date will NOT appear in the book
  8. Re-shoots are at the discretion of the studio and are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair and clothing, or for non-compliant children or animals on the day of the session.
  9. At the end of your photography session we will make a date and time for you to return to the studio for your Design and Ordering Appointment. You will be expected to finalise your order at this session, so we request that all decision makers are present during the Design and Ordering Appointment.
  10. You must attend the viewing appointment in order to finalise selection of an image for publication in the book.
  11. Gift vouchers can not be used towards the book participation fee. They can be used to purchase product from the session.
