Our portrait style is both simple and uncluttered. We strive for images that are cheeky and pure, just like the subjects we are photographing. When it comes to children we like different, we love fun.

We work both indoors and out, depending on the style of image you would like and the weather conditions. We will discuss with you the ideal place for your portraits to be taken, when your session is booked. Think about whether you like rustic, vintage, urban, modern, garden, architectural or traditional. The studio is a bright open space and a quick walk to several locations including the botanic gardens. We can also go to your home if that will work better for you, sometimes children are more relaxed in their own environment and this shows through in the images.

Winter is one of our favorite times of the year, the weddings are winding down and the light is beautiful in the late afternoon. So it’s a great time to get outdoors. Get your little girls in their tutus and the boys in their knitted hats and jeans and let’s get out in the fresh air and do some funky stuff. Let kids be kids. Let’s catch a little bit of that forever.

After your portrait session your proofs will be ready to view in approximately 1 week. We will make a time for you to come to the studio for your viewing appointment. Online viewing is available only after your order has been completed. We can place a selection of your favourite images online, to share with friends and family.

We can also create personalised cards for all occasions. Use them for announcing the birth of your baby to the world, as invitations to naming days and christenings, or as thank yous for those who gave presents. Also perfect for Christmas time, when you want to send a truly personalised card to your loved ones.
